Mikao Usui
Mikao Usui our founder. Born in Taniai, Japan in 1865. He left this world in 1926. However, his legacy lives on through the great system of healing that he gave to us known as Reiki. Mikao was influenced by Shugendo martial arts, Shintoism, Buddism, Taoism and much much more.
The Chakras are the major energy points in the body. Reiki promotes the balancing of these wheels of energy on all levels emotional, mental, physical and spiritual. Our chakras are the 7 points on the body through which we recieve and give energy. With the healing power Reiki these important points can be cleansed so that more life force energy can flow easily in and out and so that we can approach life with all the full wisdom of the body, mind and soul.
